Transitions Training Disclosure
This course adopts the mediator training standards set forth by the Texas Mediators Round Table. Our training modules are online and we offer a discussion board/ Q & A forum available from 9am til 6 pm central standard time, with an experienced trainer to answer questions. To Finalize the course, students must attend a one day live training via Zoom to complete the program.

To clarify Court appointed mediations: Court appointed mediations are court appointed by a judge. The purpose of a court appointed mediation is to help parties come to a resolution without incurring the cost of litigation and often works on a sliding-scale pricing or the judge may set the fee.
. "Court appointed mediators" are generally expected to meet the requirements of Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code Section 154.052, but the Code allows the court and/or Judges to waive the requirements at its discretion.
